Soto Ajam

The ingredients for soto ajam:

  • 1 liter chicken stock;
    Note! Quantities below are for 0 portions.
    • 1 chicken;
    • 100 gram ginger;
    • 12 black peppercorns;
    • 20 gram salt;
    • 4 stems sereh;
    • 3 bay leaves;
    • 2 liter water;
  • 1 chicken; plucked
  • 200 gram rice;
  • 150 gram bean sprouts;
  • 80 gram fried onions;
  • 40 gram celery leaves; chopped
  • 4 eggs; boiled

How to make soto ajam?

  1. Prepare the chicken stock.
    1. Add the chicken, the ginger, the black peppercorn, the salt, the sereh, the bay leaf and the water to a soup pan
    2. Let it boil for 180 minutes.
    3. Sieve the stock.
    4. Your result is ready for further use.
  2. Prepare the rice according to the insctructions on the packaging.
  3. Add the rice, the egg and the bean sprouts to a soup bowl
  4. Add the chicken stock
  5. Add the fried onions and the celery leaf
