Thai chicken soup

The ingredients for tom kha kai:
- 320 gram chicken breasts; in strips
- 1 liter chicken stock;
- 200 gram shiitake; in strips
- 400 milliliter coconut milk;
- 20 gram ginger; sliced
- 1 chili pepper; sliced
- 2 stems sereh; in pieces
- 20 gram brown sugar;
- 15 milliliter fish sauce; in pieces
- 15 milliliter lime juice;
- 2 cloves garlic; pressed
- 150 gram bean sprouts;
How to make tom kha kai?
- Add the chicken stock, the coconut milk, the ginger, the chili pepper, the sereh and the garlic to a soup pan
- Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium temperature.
- Add the chicken breast
- Let it boil for 5 minutes.
- Add the shiitake
- Let it boil for 5 minutes.
- Flavor with the brown sugar, the fish sauce and the lime juice
- Add the bean sprouts
