A traditional dish Kung Pao Chicken, but it can also be made with different meat or even seafood.

Kung Pao Chicken

The ingredients for kung pao chicken:

  • 600 gram chicken breasts; in cubes
  • Kung Pao marinade;

    • 20 milliliter soy sauce;
    • 10 milliliter sesame oil;
    • 20 milliliter rice wine vinegar;
    • 10 gram corn starch;
  • 600 gram rice;
  • sesame oil;
  • 150 gram unsalted peanuts;
  • 4 cloves garlic; sliced
  • 10 gram ginger; chopped
  • 2 spring onions; sliced
  • 10 milliliter chili sauce;
  • 10 milliliter rice wine vinegar;
  • 50 milliliter water;
  • 5 gram sugar;
  • 10 gram corn starch;
  • 10 milliliter soy sauce;
  • 600 gram stir fried spinach;
    Note! Quantities below are for 6 portions.
    • 600 gram spinach; washed
    • 10 milliliter sesame oil;
    • 3 cloves garlic; chopped
    • 15 gram ginger; chopped
    • 5 milliliter rice wine vinegar;

How to make kung pao chicken?

  1. Prepare the Kung Pao marinade.
    1. Mix the soy sauce, the sesame oil, the rice wine vinegar and the corn starch.
    2. Your result is ready for further use.
  2. Marinate the chicken breast for at least 1 hours.
  3. Prepare the rice according to the insctructions on the packaging.
  4. Prepare the stir fried spinach.
    1. Add the sesame oil to the pan.
    2. Add the spinach, the garlic, the ginger and the rice wine vinegar
    3. Fry the spinach 5 minutes till done.
    4. Your dish is ready, enjoy!
  5. Add the sesame oil to the pan.
  6. Fry the chicken breast 8 minutes till done.
  7. Add the garlic, the ginger, the spring onion and the chili sauce and fry shortly while stirring.
  8. Add the rice wine vinegar, the water, the sugar and the corn starch and fry shortly while stirring.
  9. Let it briefly reduce.
  10. Add the unsalted peanut and fry shortly while stirring.
  11. Serve with rice and stir fried spinach.
